The Better Half and I were down to the west valley today for a couple of visits and some shopping. On our way out of the valley, we passed a southeast bound train along US60. Since TBH was driving, I got to work the camera for a change and got several images of the train as it passed. Clickable image.
It was not until I got home and looked at the photos that I realized that this particular train’s first three locomotives were decorated with the current, the next oldest and the third oldest BNSF paint schemes, in order. I tend to like the newest color scheme the best, but prefer the old “Santa Fe” markings to “BNSF.” What do you think?
