Hiking in the Outback
It might appear that I’m knee-deep in the cholla and other wild native shrubbery on the hill behind our house, but there is actually a lot of bare ground between them. I went up to the corner of the property to replace a battery in the beacon that marks the corner. The Better Half took this (clickable) image of me as I navigated toward the next stop, the bird feeders.

A corner beacon?
What for?

Just as a notion, I placed a stake light (solar powered led) at each of the corners of the lot. That way I can show our visitors (after dark) the extent of our little half acre plot. Fun, but all in vain.
