We were at Devil's Tower in 2004, so we're going to the north this time. The Better Half liked the prairie dog town by the road on the way into the monument.

I forgot about the St. Louis Arch. We've only seen it from the air, so thanks for reminding me.</description>

More specifically to your post, I would definitely suggest skirting into Wyoming long enough to get up-close-and-personal with Devils Tower (of Close Encounters of the Third Kind fame), but then I am a geek like that.  Seems as though you already have Mount Rushmore, the St. Louis Arch, and Yellowstone covered, so I have nothing else useful to add :).</description>
