Introducing “Miss Piggy”
The Better Half has had this firearm for some time, about two years. It’s a Para Ordinance “Warthog” .45ACP compact pistol. Only recently did we have a conversation about giving it a nickname.
I call my flame-throwing S&W 686 .357 Magnum revolver “Jerry Lee” because of the great balls of fire it produces. “Fat Man” and “Little Boy” seemed appropriate for my Glock 30 and Glock 26 compact .45 and 9mm pistols, respectively, in tribute to the millions of Japanese and American lives saved by the A-bombs of the same names.
The Better Half already named her little rosewood-gripped S&W 442 .38 special revolver “Rosie the Riveter.” She didn’t especially want to name the Warthog until I suggested “Miss Piggy.” And then she was in 100%.

What are you using to record your video?

I was using a Canon A710IS in the movie mode. It produces an AVI file which I then edit with windows movie maker to crop and to add titles. Then, I use a flash tool to convert to the SWF embedded above. It’s a little work but produces a video compatible with most browsers.

Cool….I thought maybe you were doing something like that.
Do they have any objections to your “taping” things at the range? I’ve wanted to have my son go with me a few times and record things, but wasn’t sure about their policy.
Guess I should have just *asked* them, but, oh, well…..

I guess I always assumed that if you were only taking photos and videos of your own party that it is cool. I don’t attempt to be covert about it, but I never make a grand production, either.
I never shoot pix of anything else except for empty booths. I would ask a shooter before taking a picture of him or her, but have never done so.
The Better Half was asked to leave her camera in the car one time, by Turner’s Outdoorsman - store policy. Nobody at the range seems to worry about it, though.
