Range Revamp
Our local indoor range is getting a long-overdue face lift. Today, we stopped in to get a preview of how the range will look when it re-opens on Monday, 8/17. We learned a while back from DrJim of Every Blade of Grass, that this work was going to be done. He is a member at the same range.
The booths are being refinished, the baffles replaced or repaired and the overhead trolleys are being renewed. The better half notes that the floor is all shiny and nice. Since our day to go to the range is Sunday, we will have to wait another week before we can try out the new facilities. Click on the panorama below for the big picture.

Thanks for the update! I was planning on going there tomorrow, but looks like I’ll have to wait.
Are they open anyway? I’d like to drop in and see how the work is going, and say hi to my friends there.

When we were in there today, they weren’t open for business, but they did let us in for a quick look and to take the pictures. Nobody was there other than people working on the stuff and Fred’s other half - I forget her name.

Ahhhh….I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting her, unless she was there and I didn’t know it was her!
